Creative Designer - EMEA (6881)
As an experienced Creative Designer, you will be part of our centralised creative team and support all areas of the business, specifically in Ireland and the EMEA regions. With a real creative eye for promotional content, a good understanding of digital media, digital marketing campaigns, customer engaging content and print, you will work very closely with the Irish and EMEA teams to create innovative & engaging communication & marketing campaigns for their regions.
Working in an agile & fast paced environment, your creative flair will transform a stakeholder brief into the development, design & delivery of engaging assets for use across website, email, social, print and other platforms.
From designing marketing emails, to producing web banners, through to leaflets and brochures to large format print your role as a Creative Designer is demanding, exciting and diverse. Your role will demand up-to-date knowledge of trends, styles and what’s new, industry software.
Managing multiple design briefs at any one time, for many countries and in many languages requires your focus, robust time management and a very high attention to detail and accuracy, bringing the Cromwell brand to life in all your creations.
Role Responsibilities
- Design creative requirements for Email, Social, Web & Digital platforms
- Design creative requirements for print, from brochures and leaflets through to large format
- Highly creative and results driven
- Proactively ideate and develop innovative ideas to bring our brand and business to life within the digital space
- Support achievement of business goals and objectives through your designs & achievement of high conversion rates
- Produce designs that deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Design mobile-friendly layouts for email campaigns, social campaigns, landing pages etc.
- Advanced knowledge of image manipulation
- Proactive, high energy, results orientated & enthusiastic approach to your work
- Produce creative ideas and concepts and develop design through innovating, thinking and competitor research
- Collaboration with stakeholders in Ireland and EMEA to discuss & fully understand the business objectives and requirements of the job, supporting the completion of a design brief
- Excellent project management skills.
- Preparing work by gathering information and materials.
- A thorough understanding of the company’s brand and corporate guidelines, being a strong ambassador for the brand by ensuring all work encompasses the guidelines
- Support & educate stakeholders to understand the brand guidelines and their purpose.
- Working with a range of media across all channels and keeping up to date with emerging technologies
- Very high attention to detail required with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels and functions within the wider business, specifically Ireland and EMEA.
- The ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure, speed, and accuracy, working at pace are a must have.
- Art-directing photographers and videographers.
- The ability to work independently & as part of a team.
- Prepare finished artwork ready for print.
- Using large format output to produce banners and or posters as and when needed.
- Using innovation to redefine a design brief within time and cost constraints.
- Very high attention to detail required with a high degree of accuracy.
Experience, Knowledge & skills:
- Experience of using a variety of packages such as Creative Cloud, with the main skill in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Passion and enthusiasm for design and highly creative
- Strong project management skills
- An understanding of brand design and creative trends
- Creates positive people partnerships, earning the trust & respect of others.
- Is not afraid to instil new approaches and break down barriers to reach the best solution(s)
- Customer focussed, with willingness to adapt designs & creations to fully meet customer /stakeholder needs.
- Ability to prioritise workload when original targeted timelines change.
- An influential communicator with the ability to interpret and negotiate briefs with stakeholders.
- Proven ability to effectively manage several projects at a time.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail when finalising designs
- Experience in working in multiple language outputs
- Highly organised and motivated with a can-do attitude and a strong teamwork ethic.
- Proactive approach to personal development
- Knowledge and understanding surrounding the requirements and process for print work.
- A design or creative focussed qualification
- Proactive, high energy, results orientated & enthusiastic.
