UX Designer (6723)
As a UX Designer at Cromwell Tools, you’ll play a critical role in creating intuitive, user-centered designs that enhance the digital experience for our customers. You’ll be responsible for translating insights from user research into effective, visually appealing designs and seamless workflows. Collaborating closely with our UI designer, researchers, product owners, and developers, you’ll design digital experiences that align with our customers’ needs, Cromwell’s business goals, and industry best practices. This role is central to ensuring our website and digital touchpoints deliver an engaging and efficient user experience that supports conversion and customer satisfaction.

What will you do on a normal day?
- Design & Prototyping
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that visually communicate ideas and solutions.
- Design user flows, information architecture, and interactions that support optimal user journeys and conversions.
- Ensure that all designs are responsive, accessible, and aligned with Cromwell’s brand standards.
- User Research & Insights Integration
- Work closely with the UX researcher to incorporate findings and feedback into design iterations.
- Conduct informal user testing and gather feedback to refine and improve designs.
- Use data and analytics insights to identify and prioritize design changes that enhance usability and conversion.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with UI designers to ensure visual elements align with user flows and functionality.
- Partner with developers to communicate design specifications and ensure smooth implementation.
- Work with product owners and stakeholders to align design decisions with business objectives and user needs.
- Documentation & Standards
- Document design decisions, user flows, and processes for cross-team alignment and future reference.
- Maintain and update the design system to ensure consistency across digital touchpoints.
What are we looking for?
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in UX design with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design practices and successful digital projects.
- Technical & Design Skills
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design, information architecture, and interaction design principles.
- Experience with responsive and accessible design practices.
- Soft Skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance user needs with business goals.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to explain design decisions to non-design stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for design consistency.
