Warehouse Supervisor (7315)
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our branch.
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll organise and supervise staff within the warehouse to ensure that the Warehouse operates safely and efficiently at all times.
What would you do on a normal day?
- To ensure that all warehouse staff are aware of their responsibilities, monitoring staff performance and providing relevant support
- To ensure that stock integrity is maintained
- To ensure that the warehouse area is kept a clean and safe environment, mitigating any health and safety risks
- To ensure that all goods are stored and transported in a safe and correct manner, in line with regulatory responsibilities
- Ensure that the warehouse and trade counter are clean, safe and efficiently operated
- To ensure that all company vans are clean, roadworthy and correctly serviced at all times.
- To take responsibility for ensuring that van mileages are recorded accurately on a daily basis and fleet usage is in line with the Company Vehicle Policy.
What are we looking for?
- Previous supervisory experience gained within a warehouse environment
- Knowledge of industrial supplies would highly advantageous
- Self-motivated and have a dedicated approach
- Strong communication and people skills
- A full and valid driving license is essential
- A current forklift license is desirable
- Experience of using IT systems and confident with the use of technology
